This specimen consists of a single major smoky quartz crystal, with a string of smaller parallel-oriented crystals partially circling the larger crystal along it’s base, forming a scepter on milky quartz. This crystal is nearly transparent and colorless in the center, becoming smoky near the outer edges. There is one ding on the right side of the principal smoky quartz crystal (see photos above). Specimen is mounted on an acrylic base. From a new find in August, 2010.
