This is an unusual and unique agatized coral geode, consisting of gray to orange translucent fingers of agate replacing parallel fossil coral internal structures. Internal voids mostly consist of botryoidal agate, with some white to light blue common opal coating the surface. Fluorescent (and slightly phosphorescent) yellow under longwave, midwave and shortwave UV light. From the Hawthorn Group (lower Miocene). Individual dimensions are: (108 x 96 x 53 mm & 110 x 106 x 37 mm).
