Classic Shaba cuprite specimen, consisting of one sharp, apparently metallic dark gray octahedral cuprite crystal 16 mm across (translucent dark red when back-lit!), sitting within a small matrix pocket with other incomplete cuprites. Associated light green chrysocolla. These have not been mined for many years. No damage to the primary cuprite.
