This outstanding specimen consists of undamaged transparent bright orange spessartine crystals to 4 mm across on a tan orthoclase matrix. The spessartines are of the 24-sided tetragonal trisoctahedral habit, with striated faces. There is a 27 x 20 mm muscovite crystal to one side, as well as a number of smaller muscovites scattered across the matrix.
